Surely the vast majority of people remember Avatar, the science fiction movie produced and directed by James Cameron, in which an environmental tragedy is told in a distant planet called Pandora that is threatened by human ambition. What is happening in the Madidi National Park in Bolivia? And how it is related to the plot of the film? Wildlife closer than 300 ft (100 m) from my home

When one wants  a safari to watch wildlife , it is normal to think in Africa or in a faraway jungle or maybe in a remote place in the world.  This article wants  to show that this is not necessary , no matter where you live, if you take your time to search for, I am sure you will find  marvelous wildlife very close to you . Maybe they are  not as spectacular as the great beasts or animals , but they are very interesting and wonderful. Even in a city you can find many animals around us.   Santa Cruz de la Sierra , the city where I live is , particularly , a city that still has lots of wildlife despite its development and population growth (Santa Cruz has currently over 1.6 million inhabitants (2010 )). Because it is located  in the Amazon basin, it still has remnants of reinforest's wildlife . Patagonia II: The adventure goes on: El Chubut

Chubut is one of the Argentinean provinces that are in Patagonia and is characterized by its rugged coastline and endless plateau covering most of it. Although one might think that there is scarce life there, it offers the possibility to observe a lot of animals in its natural environment. The Valdez Peninsula is  located 77 km from "Puerto Madryn" and it is a touristic place. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This place is exceptional to watch different types of animals, one of the most prominent is the southern humpback whale (Eubalaena Australis) that is in danger of extinction. This whale is slow and when dead its carcase stays on the water. That's why hunting it was very easy and convenient. Now, they are protected in the area and its characteristics allow to watch them from a short distance and if lucky, you can see its tail, which is an emblem of the province.
