Patagonia III: Bariloche, the Alps of South America

This is a city located in the province of Rio Negro, Argentina, in the mountainous part of the Patagonia, close to the Nahuel Huapi Lake and surrounded by the Nahuel Huapi National Park. This place is a touristic place for skiing, trekking and mountaineering. The city itself reminds the typical Swiss town and this is not casual, because this region has many European immigrants. This photo seems taken in a typical town in Switzerland, but it was taken in the main square of San Carlos de Bariloche. If you like to see wonderful landscapes, this is the place. You will find many spots very close to our concept of paradise. And the good thing is that this place offers its beauty at any time of the year.
